Joe Collett has been in the residential construction business for over 15 years.  He started as a ICC Certified Building inspector, and saw the need for a company to install the hurricane clips and straps that met the code requirements.  This was the beginning of Hurricane Construction, Ltd.  Joe has since expanded the business to include framing, cornice, spray foam insulation and land clearing.

Joe is from the Pasadena/Deer Park area and is a graduate of Deer Park High School.  After graduation, Joe joined the United States Marine Corps and spent his entire career with the 3rd Plt, Bravo Co, 4th AAV Battalion in Galveston Texas.  Joe retired on 1 Aug 2003 as a Master Sargeant of Marines.  MSgt Collett (Ret) is also the founder of the Galveston Marines Association.
